From your complimentary pick up and transport to the dive site to gear hire, we aim to cater for all your diving needs with our experience, flexibility, knowledge and friendliness.
The experienced dive guides (qualified PADI instructors and divemasters) lead you around the Coolidge - through areas such as the decks, cargo holds, supply areas, shops and offices, where you explore the remnants of both a WWII troop ship and a luxury liner. Exclusive guides can be booked.
A selection of the latest equipment is available for hire. Weight belts and tanks are included in the dive price.
Diving from the shore
There is a sheltered gearing up area which allows the easiest and most convenient access to the Coolidge. The ship is an easy walk out from the shore through calm, clear water. Allan Power built a breakwall where divers can put their fins on in comfort before starting a dive. The wall's stainless steel bars gives divers assistance and is somewhere to put cameras etc. while donning fins and masks.
A range of PADI courses from Open Water to Dive Master are taught with many of the course dives conducted on or around the Coolidge. Dive Master courses are run as an internship living with the team - these run from six weeks to four months.
