CYCLONE PAM
Posted: Monday 23 March, 2015

To all friends and customers of Allan Power Dive Tours. You will be wondering how we are faring on our poor battered island - in short, Allan and crew are fine having weathered about 22 hours of relentless storm. The cyclone passed just to the east of us and we had plenty of warning things were going to turn nasty. This gave us time to secure everything and we were confident we could withstand almost anything mother nature decided to throw our way. It took a couple of days to get power back however and communications collapsed, as everything goes through Vila. We sincerely apologise if you have had trouble connecting with us - suffice to say we are looking forward to seeing all our old and new dive friends back soon. We welcomed two cruise ships the day after the cyclone and had a handful of divers off them. Each said getting off the ship was the high point, not surprisingly. Rest assured we are fine and will be in contact when things return to normal.
